Steven Kaufman

Steven Kaufman focuses his practice primarily on general liability, professional liability, and legal malpractice defense litigation.

Mr. Kaufman earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami in 2019, with a major in History and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Mr. Kaufman then obtained his Juris Doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in June 2023.

While in law school, Mr. Kaufman served as Staff Editor on the Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice and was a member of Cardozo’s Sports Law Society. Prior to joining Furman Kornfeld & Brennan LLP, Steven worked as a legal intern at a New York City based commercial litigation firm and as a law clerk at an insurance defense law firm in New Jersey.
