Salvatore Lapetina’s practice focuses on general liability, construction accident liability litigation and professional liability.
Mr. Lapetina is a 2015 graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, where he was a Pro Bono Scholar and completed over 1000 hours of pro bono legal services in the areas of securities arbitration and bankruptcy. In addition, he co-founded and was the managing editor of the St. John’s Commercial Division Online Law Report.
Mr. Lapetina has lectured for the Queens County Bar Association’s 2018 CPLR & Evidence Update Program, and prepared materials for various CLE programs including New York Civil Practice and Evidence. He has also served as a contributing editor to the NYLitigator, a publication of the New York State Bar Association Commercial and Federal Litigation Section.
Prior to joining Furman Kornfeld & Brennan, Mr. Lapetina was a litigation associate with a New York City law firm where he focused his practice on the defense of elevator, premises, and motor vehicle liability. In addition, he prosecuted plaintiffs’ personal injury claims.
Mr. Lapetina is admitted to practice in the states of New York and New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
