Jessica Serrano Goddeyne

Jessica Serrano Goddeyne, born in New York City,  focuses on professional liability and legal malpractice defense, as well as insurance coverage and litigation. Ms. Goddeyne has practiced in the insurance defense field since 2014. She handles complex litigation matters and has extensive experience representing and advising professionals, business entities, property owners and individuals throughout all phases of litigation. Her accomplishments include successfully obtaining a verdict on behalf of a law firm client following a four-week jury trial.

Prior to rejoining FKB, Ms. Goddeyne practiced at an insurance defense law firm in Tampa, Florida, where she defended clients, including a Fortune 100 company, in varied civil litigation matters venued throughout the United States and Latin America.

Ms. Goddeyne earned her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where she was a Notes Editor and Staff Member on the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution. She received her B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Miami. Ms. Goddeyne is admitted to practice law in New York, Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
