Asher Kest

Asher Kest is an associate attorney focusing on Legal Malpractice Defense and Insurance Coverage and Litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Asher was an associate at a boutique litigation firm, where he represented plaintiffs in complex litigation matters in state and federal courts arising from the Fair Credit Reporting Act, consumer finance law, cyber-security breach incidents and general commercial litigation. He later worked at the Department of Consumer Affairs, focusing on of enforcement actions for deceptive practices, misrepresentation, and cyber-security breach incidents. Asher began his career at the MTA-NYCTA General Counsel’s office, defending high exposure liability matters.

Asher graduated from City University of New York with degrees in Philosophy and English Literature, as well as honors in Math and Natural Sciences. He received his JD from Fordham University School of Law in 2012.

Asher is admitted to practice law in New York and before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
