Furman Kornfeld & Brennan LLP Is Pleased To Announce That Jessica Serrano Goddeyne, Irina Zamyatin and Salvatore Lapetina Have Been Named Partner, and David Gorelick has been named Of Counsel, Effective January 1, 2025.

We are pleased to announce that Jessica Serrano Goddeyne, Irina Zamyatin and Salvatore Lapetina will be elevated to Partner effective January 1, 2025.  David Gorelick has been promoted to Of Counsel with the Firm.

Jessica has been a key member of the professional liability and insurance coverage teams during her two stints with FKB (2014-2017, 2021 to present). Jessica’s sophisticated knowledge of insurance coverage and her tenacious litigation skills have helped grow FKB’s insurance coverage capabilities.

Irina has been an integral part of FKB’s med mal team since 2018, with a wealth of experience in defending FKB’s healthcare clients. Irina’s proficiency in motion practice and problem-solving has helped achieve successful resolutions for FKB’s institutional clients and healthcare practitioners and furthers FKB’s strong medical malpractice defense presence.

Sal has been a key member of FKB’s construction defense and professional liability teams since he joined in 2020. Sal is a talented and experienced litigator who brings a unique ability to handle tough New York Labor Law claims and sophisticated professional liability claims.

David is a talented advocate and an essential member of FKB’s construction defense and general liability practice group. David litigates high exposure, complex cases, including New York Labor Law claims, often involving catastrophic injuries.
