FKB’s John Gizunterman successfully obtained summary judgment in Kings County medical/nursing malpractice action involving allegations of negligence with respect to pressure ulcers, infection, onset of gangrene, and wrongful death. In support of the motion, FKB was able to demonstrate that decedent’s injuries were attributable to a litany of co-morbidities, including anemia, coronary artery disease, hypertension, diabetes, dementia, stroke, and hyperlipidemia.
